FAQ'SWhat is a composite door?
A composite door is an exterior door manufactured from a range of different materials such as PVC, wood, insulating foam, and GRP (glass-reinforced plastic). The combination of materials make the door strong, secure, energy efficient and highly durable. Why are composite doors better than wood or uPVC doors? Composite doors are more energy efficient, their GRP skin means that they are much more weather resistant, they are stronger and more secure, are maintenance free, and have a longer lifespan that wood or uPVC doors. How long do composite doors last? Our doors come with a 12 year guarantee but they should last for 35 years (if moving parts are oiled once a year). What kind of locking system do the doors have? All of our doors come with a multi-point locking system as standard. The cylinder locks are anti-pick, anti-drill, anti-snap and anti-bump which will give you complete peace of mind.
